Relationships Don't Exist in a Vacuum
Every relationship is shaped by culture.
The way we communicate, express emotion, handle conflict, set boundaries, define family roles, experience gender, understand intimacy, and seek forgiveness is influenced by the many identities and communities that shape our lives.
As a therapist, I believe meaningful healing requires more than learning communication skills. It requires understanding the cultural, familial, and personal experiences that influence how we relate to ourselves and to one another.
My practice is grounded in cultural humility—the ongoing commitment to approaching every client with openness, curiosity, and respect. Rather than making assumptions about your experiences or values, I work collaboratively with you to understand how your cultural identities, family history, beliefs, and lived experiences influence your relationships and your goals for therapy.
I welcome individuals and couples from all racial and ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, cultures, faith traditions, gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and family systems. Whether you are navigating intercultural relationships, LGBTQIA+ identity, family expectations, or the challenges of balancing multiple cultural identities, therapy should be a place where your whole story is understood—not simplified.
Healing becomes more meaningful when it honors both who you are and where you come from.
